BIM Software Tip: How to Mark Elevation on a Slope in Revit
In Revit, you may notice that elevation marks cannot be directly applied to ramps on a floor plan. (This limitation does not apply when working in 3D views.) Here’s a useful workaround:
First, place an elevation mark on the floor adjacent to the slope. Then, simply drag this elevation mark onto the slope itself. This will allow you to mark the corresponding elevation at the desired point along the slope, as illustrated in the image below:
