BIM Software Tip: Creating Irregular Roofs with Curtain Wall Panels in Revit (Part 1)

1. Start by creating a new Conceptual Volume, and select the metric volume option.

2. Once the operating panel opens, set the length unit to meters.

3. Define the Work Plane.

4. Using the Reference Point tool from the drawing panel, place points on the plane as illustrated in the image.

5. Move the point located at the intersection of the reference lines upward by a specified distance.

6. Connect the points using the Point Spline tool, following the shape shown in the figure.

7. Select the three lines, then create a solid form from them.

8. Select the surface, then apply the Surface Segmentation tool to divide it. Set the number of U and V grids to 16.
