New Visibility Features for Curved Grids in Revit 2019 Views

New Feature in Revit 2019: Visibility of Curved Grids in Views

Revit 2019 introduces the ability to define arc axes (instead of just straight lines) in plan views such as floor and ceiling plans. The arc axis will appear in section views where it intersects the section line and is perpendicular to it at the arc’s center point.

For example, in the floor plan below, Revit 2019 displays two curved axis lines. Axis 3 intersects the section line, but since its centerline is not perpendicular to the section line, it does not appear in the sectional view. In contrast, Axis 2 intersects the section line perpendicularly at its centerline, so it is shown in the sectional view, representing the center of the arc.
