How to Merge Design Options into the Main Model with New Features in Revit 2019
Once you have selected the design options to implement, you can merge them into the main model and remove any unnecessary options.
Note: Accepting the main option will delete all secondary options and design option sets. While this action can be undone, ensure that no additional options are needed before proceeding. It is recommended to create a backup copy of your project prior to continuing.
Merging Design Options into the Main Model
1. Go to the Management tab and click on the Design Options panel.
2. If you are currently editing design options, click Complete Editing to exit the editing mode.
3. In the Design Options dialog box, select the design option set that contains the desired options.
4. If the desired option is a secondary option, select it from the list and click Set as Primary Option to upgrade it to the main option.
5. Under the Option Set section, click Accept the Main Option to merge the selected options into the main model.
6. Revit will prompt you to confirm this operation. Click Yes to proceed.
7. Revit will then merge the main options into the main model and remove the design option set.
8. Click Close to finish.
If you need to undo this action, you can click Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar.
