How to Draw Riser Inspection Ports in Revit

1. Template File

Use the Metric Conventional Model template.

2. Set Reference Planes

Enter the previously created reference planes required for drawing elevation views.

3. Draw the Flange

a. In the “Previously” view, draw the layout path for the flange in the elevation view. Then switch to the “Reference Elevation” view to draw and outline the flange.

b. Add the parameter Flange Thickness.

c. Repeat the process to draw another flange in the same way.

4. Draw the Valve Body

a. Use the layout to draw the valve body.

b. Add the parameter Valve Body Thickness.

c. Add two reference planes.

d. Draw the remaining parts of the valve body and flange.

e. Connect the two valve bodies.

5. Add Pipeline Connectors

Add connectors and associate the relevant parameters.
