Recently, temperatures across various districts and counties in Chongqing have steadily risen, reaching as high as 40 degrees Celsius. Despite the intense heat, over 100 employees and more than 700 workers from the Chongqing Guizhou Expressway project team remained dedicated on the front line.
The continuous high temperatures over several days moved the company’s leadership. On August 2nd, Liu Fangxiao, chairman of the company’s labor union, was entrusted by the leaders to visit the project construction site to deliver “coolness” to the employees. He brought summer cooling quilts, Wang Laoji herbal tea, and other refreshments.
Additionally, the project department distributed various heatstroke prevention supplies such as watermelons, mung beans, and medicines to the construction teams and workplaces.
The Chongqing Guizhou Expressway, managed by China Railway Construction Chongqing Investment Group Co., Ltd., is a PPP project with tight schedules and demanding tasks. It requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
With the project department in the midst of a critical phase, company leaders remain deeply concerned about the safety and health of their employees.
Through the ongoing “Sending Coolness” campaign, the company has continuously encouraged employees to take pride in their work and stay committed, ensuring the accuracy and quality of construction during the rainy season.
