How to Align Analytical Models in Revit

How to Adjust Analysis Alignment in Revit

Analysis alignment in Revit involves various options and is essential for understanding the relationship between the model, its elements, and other analysis components when placing the analysis model. There are two main methods for setting analysis alignment: automatic detection and projection. The alignment is controlled by the instance properties of the structural elements.

Setting Analysis Instance Parameters

Follow these steps to set analysis instance parameters:

  1. Select the structural elements in the drawing area.
  2. In the Attributes palette, choose the Analyze Elements filter from the dropdown list of attribute filters.

Alternatively, you can select the analysis model tab to access and modify the analysis properties directly.

The setting for analysis alignment can be found under the Alignment Method section.
