How to Export All Families from a Revit Project at Once

How to Export All Families in a Revit Project at Once

When finishing a project, it’s often necessary to back up and keep track of all the families used. Exporting all families at once can simplify this process. Follow these steps to export all families in your Revit project:

1: Click on the Application Menu, then from the dropdown list, choose Save As > Library > Family (click on Family).

2: In the pop-up Save Family dialog box, select all the families available for saving, then click Save to complete the export.

3: Alternatively, you can export a single family by clicking on the All Families option in the Save Families dialog. This opens a dropdown menu where you can select the specific family you want to save.
