The Connection Method for Revit Decorative Steel Beams
When modeling, I often notice that I-beams do not connect smoothly with each other. To address this, I would like to share my experience on how to achieve seamless connections between beams in Revit.
First, create several beams in your model.
Next, select the column-beam connection tool under the modify tab. Adjust the arrows so that the front and back sections of the two beams align perfectly.
Then, choose the connection section for cutting. Begin by selecting the beam you want to cut, followed by the beam it connects to, completing the cut operation.
After that, set the cutting distance to zero. This ensures the two beams connect seamlessly without any gaps.
Following these steps will result in a clean and professional-looking I-beam connection.
