Creating Custom Standard Files in Revit

Revit Custom Standard Files

Within the Set menu, under Object Style, you can configure the line width, line type, and color of objects for both flat and sectional views. These settings help ensure that your CAD drawings align with our preferred display standards.

The line width digits, ranging from 1 to 16, correspond to line widths at different scales. You can find the exact values under the Set menu in Line Width settings.

For example, at a scale of 1:100 for floor plans, selecting Line 2 results in a line width of 0.18mm.

Once configured, these settings can be saved in a template file for consistent use across projects.
