How to Combine Revit Specialty Models into a Unified Project Model

How to Merge Revit Single Specialty Models into a Comprehensive Model

Start by creating a comprehensive project. Then, open each specialty model you want to merge. Select the single specialty model, go to the “Modify” tab, and use the Create Group command. This action converts the single specialty model into a group. Next, locate the group you just created in the Project Browser, right-click on it, and select Copy to Paste Pad.

Switch to the comprehensive project page, click on the “Modify” tab, and select the Paste command. Then choose Paste from Clipboard. This pastes the original single specialty model into the newly created comprehensive model.

Finally, transfer the necessary project standards such as filters and templates to the integrated project. By following this method, you can merge all models from different disciplines, successfully creating the integrated model you need.
