Modifying Vertical Connections in Revit Curtain Walls

Modifying Vertical Connections in Revit Curtain Walls

Have you ever faced a situation where you added vertical braces to a curtain wall but only wanted the vertical braces at the top to be connected, while the horizontal braces remain disconnected? This is a common challenge when working with curtain walls in Revit.

Fortunately, Revit includes a feature that allows you to control vertical connections selectively in specific areas. The process is straightforward.

First, select the vertical brace you want to edit.

Once selected, a Vertical Modification tab will appear in the interface.

From there, you can choose between Link or Interrupt options, allowing you to customize the vertical connection behavior of individual components freely.
