Creating Multiple Decorative Surfaces on a Single Wall in Revit

How to Create Multiple Decorative Surfaces on the Same Wall in Revit

What if you want to apply two different decorative surfaces on a single wall? Here’s how:

Start by drawing a wall, then select the Split Face command from the Modify menu.

Next, choose the surface layer you want to split and draw the boundary line to divide it.

Once done, you will have successfully divided one face into two distinct areas.

After that, select the Paint tool. The material menu will appear—choose the desired material, then click on the surface to apply the finish.
