Registration Time and Important Information for the 2018 National BIM Skill Level Examination
Recently, the editor of BIM Architecture Network received a notification from the Chinese Society of Graphic Sciences regarding the 12th National BIM Skill Level Examination. This announcement includes details on exam registration and important precautions. Here is a brief overview to help you prepare.
1. Exam Dates for the 12th National BIM Skill Level Examination in 2018
The Level 1 exam will take place on June 9, 2018 (Saturday).
The Level 2 exam is scheduled for June 10, 2018 (Sunday).
Note: Both Level 1 and Level 2 exams will be held in the morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The Level 2 exam includes three specializations: architecture, structural engineering, and equipment design.
2. Registration Period for the 12th National BIM Skill Level Examination in 2018
Registration is now open.
The deadline to register is May 16, 2018.
3. Registration Fees for the 2018 Examination
The fee for both Level 1 and Level 2 exams is set at RMB 350 per candidate.

5. Exam Outline for the 2018 National BIM Skill Level Examination

The passing score remains 60 points.
6. Important Notes for the 2018 Examination
The 12th National BIM Skill Level Examination will be conducted as a paperless test. Exam question packages will be distributed one hour before the start time, and candidates may enter the exam room no earlier than 20 minutes before the exam begins. The decompression password will be provided 5 minutes before the exam starts. Candidates arriving more than 15 minutes late will be disqualified.
Cheating or disrupting the exam environment will result in a ban from the exam for one to two years, depending on the severity of the offense.
Additionally, candidates from remote western regions who face financial hardship may benefit from a reduced registration fee, paying only half the normal amount.
BIM Architecture Network’s Reminder to Candidates
1. During registration, each candidate must complete the candidate registration form provided by BIM Architecture Network.
2. Photo requirements: The photo file size must be between 20KB and 60KB, with dimensions of 250×350 pixels. It should be a clear headshot on a white background, no hats allowed, taken by a professional photo studio. The file should be named using the candidate’s ID number and saved in JPG format.
3. Candidates who were found to be identical (i.e., duplicate identities) in the 11th exam are not permitted to register for this examination. Candidates registering at remote western exam centers who qualify as impoverished must provide proof of financial hardship, which will be kept on file at the exam center to qualify for the reduced registration fee.
4. After payment, candidates must submit a photo of the original payment receipt to BIM Construction Network.
