Configuring Standard Working Hours in Navisworks Projects

Setting Normal Working Hours in a Navisworks Project

Start by creating a new project. Notice that the horizontal timeline for Saturdays and Sundays is grayed out, indicating these are non-working days.

Next, we’ll create a 7-day task spanning from October 16th to October 24th—covering a total of 9 days, which includes 2 non-working days.

Right-click on the time scale and select Change Working Hours.

In the panel that appears, go to Work WeekDetailed Information. Here you can customize the working hours for each day of the week. For this example, modify the working hours for Saturday and Sunday by setting the start and end times to:

8:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00

After making these changes, return to the timeline. You will see that the horizontal view is no longer grayed out; every day now appears as a working day.
