Revit Automatically Assigns Built-in Textures to New Material Systems

To begin, go to the Management tab and click on Materials. Then, create a new material as demonstrated in the image. Name this material ceramic tile.

When you click directly on the image under the Appearance section, the system’s default document will appear.

You can start by selecting a material that already has a texture, then click the link located below the image.

After exiting, click on the image of the new ceramic tile material you created. The view shown in the image will appear. If the texture does not meet your needs, double-click to go back to the previous level and explore additional folder options.
