How to Export Naviswork Models from Revit
The integration between Revit and Naviswork is quite seamless. However, some users may not have installed the necessary add-ons, which can prevent exporting Revit models to NWC files. In this guide, we’ll explain how to export NWC files even if certain modules are missing.
Method 1: Export Using the Add-in Module (Highly Recommended)
Once you have both Revit and Naviswork installed, an additional module will be available in Revit’s interface that allows you to export directly to NWC files.
Method 2: Export NWC File from Revit’s Application Menu
If the add-in is installed, you can find the option to export NWC files in the Revit application menu bar.
Method 3: Open Revit Model Directly in Naviswork
If the previous methods don’t work, you can open the Revit model directly in Naviswork and save it as an NWC file. This provides an alternative way to generate NWC files without relying on Revit’s export options.
