Creating Custom Title Bars in Revit

Revit Title Bar Production

When creating frames, we often deal with various sizes, yet the information inside them usually remains consistent. Typically, we add this information manually—such as labels and nested annotation families—to each frame one by one. This approach is time-consuming and can affect the overall quality of the frames. To streamline the process, a faster method is necessary.

Here are some tips based on my experience for efficiently creating frames:

1. You can copy shared parameters from the frame family or use the system’s built-in labels. This significantly reduces the time required.

2. If you find that annotation families embedded in one frame cannot be copied to another, the solution is to pre-embed the annotation family into the target frame. This ensures they appear when copying.

3. By combining these two methods, you can copy labels and embedded families together, achieving a highly efficient way to input information.
