How to Fix Data Link Tables That Don’t Follow Excel Formatting and Break Overflow Tables

This issue typically arises due to the following reasons:

1. The table is inserted by using the Paste Special > Paste Link option with selected AutoCAD elements.

2. The inserted table is scaled either up or down in size.

3. The table’s height is reduced to allow for table breaks and the creation of overflow tables.

4. The graphic is saved, then closed and reopened.

Solution:

1. Create a new data link using the Excel format option. Make sure this option is not selected:
