How to Create Civil 3D Surfaces from 3D Models

In Civil 3D Toolspace, click on the Browse tab.

2. Right-click on Create Surface.

3. The Create Surface dialog box will appear, allowing you to name the surface and assign the desired styles.

4. Click OK to proceed.

5. While browsing, expand the surface features to view the newly created surface.

6. Expand the surface, then open the Definition section.

7. Under Graphic Objects, right-click and select Add.

When prompted, choose the Three Dimensional Surface object type.

9. Click OK, then select all the required 3D faces when prompted.

10. After completing the selection, press the Enter key to finish.
