How to Export and Import Viewpoints Between Navisworks Files Easily

Are you looking to export and import viewpoints between Autodesk® Navisworks® files?

Follow these simple steps to do so:

First, open the file from which you want to export a viewpoint.

Then, open the Save Viewpoint window. Right-click anywhere in the window to open the shortcut menu.

From the shortcut menu, select Export Viewpoint. This will open the export dialog box.

Choose the location where you want to save the XML file and provide a file name, then save it.

Next, open the Navisworks file into which you want to import the viewpoint.

Again, open the Save Viewpoint window and right-click within it to bring up the shortcut menu.

Click on Import Viewpoint from the menu.

Browse to the saved XML file, select it, and the viewpoint will be imported into your current file.
