AutoCAD Crashes Following Windows Security Updates Installation

The recent Windows update is causing conflicts with AutoCAD.

Solution:

Uninstall the Microsoft update MS14-037 (KB2962872, released on July 8, 2014):

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.

2. In the left panel, click on View installed updates.

3. Search for “KB2962872“.

4. If the update is found, proceed to uninstall it.

Note: You may need to hide this update to prevent it from reinstalling automatically.

Microsoft has been notified about this issue.
