How to Reset to Default Settings When Both AutoCAD 2015 and AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 Are Installed

AutoCAD® 2015 and Autodesk® AutoCAD® Map 3D 2015 can only have a single entry for resetting the Windows Start menu to default settings when both are installed on the same system. If an incorrect product configuration file is referenced, it may trigger a reset.

Solution:

To resolve this, reset the existing icon to its default settings and modify the product parameters. This will ensure that two separate icons appear, one for each product, by following the instructions below:

For AutoCAD 2015:

"C:Program FilesAutodeskAutoCAD 2015AdMigrator.exe" /reset /product Acad /language "en-US"

For AutoCAD Map 3D 2015:

"C:Program FilesAutodeskAutoCAD 2015AdMigrator.exe" /reset /product Map /language "en-US"
