Avoid Saving Changes to User-Configured Desktop Shortcuts in AutoCAD

AutoCAD Issue:

The desktop shortcut used for editing properties does not retain changes if the configuration file and modifications made during startup are switched to a custom profile.

Reason:

The shortcut has been locked to the taskbar.

Solution:

First, unlock the shortcut from the taskbar. Then, edit the shortcut from the Start menu. After making the necessary changes, reattach the shortcut to the taskbar.

Once completed, the new configuration file will be applied correctly.
