BIM Software Tips: Autodesk Vault 2015 Simplified Client – Configuring Browser Settings
Before using the streamlined client, please make sure your browser meets the necessary requirements.
Note: Vault Workgroup requires a Vault Office license to use the Lite client. Vault Professional offers read-only access by default via the streamlined client, but a Vault Office license is needed for full read and write access.
Supported Web Browsers
The Autodesk Vault Thin Client is compatible with the following browsers:
Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10
Mozilla Firefox 18
Google Chrome 28
Apple Safari 6
Additionally, with the Autodesk Design Review (ADR) plugin installed, the Vault Thin Client supports viewing DWF files across all browsers. If the ADR plugin is not installed, DWF files will be downloaded instead of viewed.
