Unable to Create Topographic Surface

Question:

Unable to create a top surface in AutoCAD.

Cause:

Certain layers within the AutoCAD file trigger error messages.

Solution:

Open the file in AutoCAD, use the Save As option, and remove the problematic layers. As a general guideline, retain the layer named Kook since it serves as the contour layer.

Alternatively, you can import the AutoCAD file into Revit. During import, select only the specific layer(s) you need—ideally just the contour layer—to avoid importing unnecessary data.
