How to Draw Pipes of Any Diameter in Revit Easily

BIM Software Tip: How to Draw Pipes of Any Diameter in Revit

Many users often find that the pipe sizes they want to draw are not available in the drop-down menu when using Revit MEP. So, what can you do in this situation?

There are two effective methods you can try:

First, check the pipe materials assigned to the current pipe type. Then, go to the mechanical settings and modify the pipe size options by adding the desired pipe diameter.

Second, change the pipe material for the current pipe type to one that supports a wider range of pipe sizes.

For instance, if you want to draw a 300 mm pipe but the default pipe material is copper, which doesn’t include size 300, what should you do? Watch this short video for the solution.
