BIM Software Tip: How to Open AutoCAD Without the Startup Dialog Box
The STARTUP system variable determines what content appears when you launch a new AutoCAD session.
If your goal is to start AutoCAD with a blank workspace, simply set the STARTUP variable to 0 (zero).
Note: The STARTUP system variable was introduced in AutoCAD 2004. It has undergone some changes since its initial release, so be sure to consult your specific product version’s help documentation to understand which values will achieve the desired startup behavior.
