Design: Adjusting the Sequence of Family Parameters
In Revit 2015, when opening a family file, you can click the Family Type button to access the Family Types panel.
Within this panel, you will notice two new options on the right side for sorting parameters: Ascending order and Descending order. These buttons allow you to reorder the parameters quickly. However, it is important to note that for Chinese parameter names, the sorting behavior does not follow alphabetical order based on the first Chinese character.
Additionally, by selecting a specific parameter row, you can manually reorder that parameter using the Move Up and Move Down buttons located under the parameter category on the right side.
Keep in mind, this manual sorting is limited to parameters within the same group and does not allow moving parameters across different groups. To modify parameter grouping, you still need to click the Modify button for adjustments.
