Overview of New MEP Features in Revit 2015 (Part 17)

BIM Software Tip: Summary of MEP New Features in Revit 2015 (17)

Visualization: Improved Anti-Distortion

Revit 2015 introduces support for enabling anti-distortion smooth lines on a per-view basis.

Previously, in earlier versions of Revit, anti-distortion settings could only be toggled globally through the Graphics tab in the software’s Options.

With Revit 2015, these settings have been enhanced. Not only can anti-distortion be switched on or off globally, but there are now two additional options that allow individual control of anti-distortion for each view.

If you enable individual view control, you can find the anti-distortion settings under Graphic Display Options for each view.

This feature lets you enable or disable anti-distortion on a per-view basis, allowing more efficient and optimized use of your graphics card’s hardware resources.
