Creating a Y-Shaped Path Staircase in Revit

BIM Software Tip: How to Create Y-Shaped Path Stairs in REVIT

Start by using the Staircase command to build a staircase with the path shown in the image below.

Next, select the first and second steps on the left side, along with the middle landing platform, and mirror them to the opposite side, as illustrated in the following diagram.

Then, choose the landing platform from the available options and click the “Conversion” command. This will transform the constructed landing platform into a sketch-based element.

After converting to sketch-based creation, proceed to edit the sketch.

Adjust the outline of the landing platform to match the shape shown in the image below.

Finally, click ‘Finish’ once, then click ‘Finish’ again to complete the creation of the Y-shaped staircase.
