How to Create New Pipe Sizes in Revit

When working on mechanical and electrical water supply and drainage drawings, you might encounter pipes with diameters larger than those available in Revit. In such cases, it is necessary to add custom pipe sizes. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to add a new pipe diameter.

First, navigate to the System tab and select Pipeline. This will display the properties panel as shown in the image below.

Here, make sure to select the correct pipe type.

After entering the desired pipe size, confirm your selection by clicking both available confirmation options.

Next, locate the minimum and maximum pipe sizes. Change the maximum size to the new diameter you just entered. Finally, click OK to complete adding the new pipe diameter.
