BIM Software Tip: How to Install Additional Revit Content Libraries

Follow these steps to update or install Revit content libraries:

1. Open the Control Panel and navigate to Programs and Features.

2. Find and select Autodesk Revit Content Libraries ###### to update its version.

Please note: For Revit versions 2014 and earlier, the content libraries are not installed separately. Instead, you need to select Revit → Uninstall → Add/Remove Features.

3. Click Uninstall/Change.

When the installation wizard launches, choose Add/Remove Features.

4. In the dialog box, select the content libraries you want to install, then click Next to proceed.
