Located in Malachy on Egypt’s north coast, the Malachi Cultural and Tourism Park is a vibrant blend of tradition and innovation—an entertainment paradise for visitors of all ages. Spanning 60,000 square meters, this amusement park was meticulously designed by Baizhu for Emaar Misr. With bold colors and immersive experiences, it redefines public spaces, attracting especially energetic teenagers and young adults.

In late 2023, Emaar Misr challenged Baizhu with an ambitious goal: to create a unique entertainment center designed to be a vibrant social hub for youth. This new space would complement Marassi’s existing public facilities, forming a cohesive and dynamic community. Despite a tight design deadline of just two months and a construction timeline of six months, the project moved swiftly, with construction in full swing by January 2024. The aim is to open this exciting immersive destination in time for the summer season.

The core design concept of Malachi Cultural and Tourism Park is the “Big Bang,” symbolizing the vibrant energy of life and youth. This idea comes to life through a dynamic fusion of color, lighting, and form, creating an engaging visual experience. Visitors are subtly guided by an innovative giant navigation system, where bold, colorful lines are embedded directly into the ground. These lines not only enhance spatial circulation but also add a striking aesthetic appeal to the commercial district.

Malachi Cultural and Tourism Park features a thoughtfully designed “three-heart” layout, comprising three main zones: a multifunctional activity area, a thrill-packed amusement park, and a dedicated children’s city—all centered around a vibrant central square. This arrangement creates a dreamlike world tailored for young visitors, encouraging spontaneous social interaction and self-expression. Baizhu’s vision of public spaces that foster community participation is fully realized here.

Beyond the main attractions, Malachy Park offers a wide range of exciting activities. Visitors can enjoy the charm of an open-air cinema, experience the thrill of karting tracks, glide gracefully on the ice rink, or stay active on the sports field. The arcade game zone brings nostalgic childhood memories, while flexible public spaces host pop-up markets, concerts, and workshops—each event bursting with freshness and surprises.
The dining and retail areas are also highlights, occupying 10,000 and 15,000 square meters respectively. Featuring container-style restaurants and shops with local flair, these spaces blend seamlessly into the park’s vibrant aesthetic. This modular design not only speeds up construction but also preserves a striking industrial style, which has become a favorite among young visitors and adds another layer of charm to the park.

As the trendiest cultural and tourism hotspot on Egypt’s north coast, Malachy has rapidly become a favored evening destination. Its steady stream of daily visitors attests to its popularity and success. Plans for expansion are underway, with the second phase expected to be completed by June 2025. This upcoming stage will introduce larger amusement areas and improved facilities, further enhancing social interaction, visitor engagement, and commercial vitality.
Baizhu continues to redefine public spaces by pushing design boundaries and creating vibrant, interactive, and inclusive environments that leave a lasting impression.
