Yinyuan Bridge is situated in the heart of Bailu Town, within the Longmen Mountain Range’s Bailu Music Tourism Scenic Area in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This scenic area spans 2.9 square kilometers and lies 60 kilometers from downtown Chengdu. It is recognized as a national 4A-level tourist attraction, rich in historical and cultural heritage.
Visitors can explore notable landmarks such as Lingbao Repair Academy, the Sino-French Friendship Bridge, Bailuchang Old Street, the iconic teaching building preserved from the 5.12 earthquake site, and the remarkable geological wonder of Tangbazi Feilai Peak.

The Yinyuan Bridge crosses the Bailu River, linking the French-style Bailu Music Town on the east bank with the metal geometric diamond-shaped music hall on the west bank. The site is located 550 meters north of the Sino-French Bridge ruins upstream. The design employs smooth curves to create a seamless connection across the strait, addressing the contrast between the two architectural styles.
The main bridge deck follows the ‘ridge path’ of the Diamond Concert Hall, winding across the river. A spiral ramp extends from the bridge, elevating another section over the riverside road to reach the open-air music stage of the music town. This spiral ramp continues upward, forming an aerial observation deck that doubles as a grandstand for outdoor performances at the Diamond Concert Hall. Descending from the ramp, it blends with the riverside landscape, creating a waterfront platform.

Inspired by the high notes on a musical staff and the swirling flow of water, the Yinyuan Bridge embodies the essence of the music tourism scenic area. Its design centers around the theme “Melody of Water,” creating a distinctive bridge identity.
The structure combines elevated and lower curved bridge decks with a hyperbolic spiral observation platform. The pedestrian path connects multiple points, flowing smoothly in a continuous loop. The spiral ramp and waterfront platform offer multi-level, 360-degree panoramic views at various heights.
Enhancing the experience is a “floating stage” surrounded by water for musical performances, along with a partially glass bridge deck symbolizing the “broken bridge” from local history. The bridge integrates harmoniously with the riverside waterfall landscape, offering visitors a novel, dynamic, and natural walking journey that draws crowds eager to explore it.
At night, carefully designed lighting accentuates the bridge’s visual impact, imbuing it with movement and rhythm, making it a captivating focal point of the nighttime scenery.

From its inception, the Yinyuan Bridge was designed not just as a pedestrian crossing between the music town and the Diamond Concert Hall but as an iconic architectural landmark. Its innovative layout has made it a popular attraction, driving visitor traffic to the Bailu Music Tourism Scenic Area.
