This affordable collective dormitory is designed for students or individual residents, covering an area of 1,400 square meters across four floors. It is constructed using recyclable containers and steel prefabricated systems. The design enables adaptability to both low and medium-density urban areas, allowing the number of housing modules to increase or decrease depending on the available land.
The modular concept allows for adjustments and transformations based on varying conditions and stages, such as business requirements or budget constraints. One of its key advantages is rapid construction, as all main structural components are prefabricated and can be assembled on-site within a few weeks.

The dormitory features six prefabricated staircase blocks and seventy containers arranged in a staggered pattern. Most units include small balconies, and the spacing between residential modules adds a dynamic architectural element to the overall structure. Construction on-site is limited to the foundation, first panel, and mechanical and electrical systems (MEP), while all other components are prefabricated and assembled on-site.

This project is envisioned as a cost-effective building with a modern, contemporary design, primarily targeting young users who require a basic living space. Each unit is self-sufficient, including a bedroom/study area, bathroom, and a small kitchen. The first-floor units feature small courtyards, while most upper-floor units have private balconies.

Given the limited budget, a passive sustainability strategy is adopted. The focus lies on key, controllable factors such as building orientation, insulation, and cross ventilation. Sustainability in the construction process is equally important, with efforts made to minimize waste and systematically reuse recyclable containers.
