The M 5606 residence challenges traditional design implementation methods. The project plan is structured around three key concepts: classification (balancing placement and execution), configuration (integrating systems and materials), and disposal (managing both established and undefined elements). This approach acknowledges the inherent temporal and spatial characteristics unique to the project.

The M 5605 Residence is a horizontal housing complex located in the Villa Urquiza neighborhood. Occupying a compact corner lot measuring 8.80 by 12.72 meters, it comprises ten functional units. Positioned in a mid-sized residential area adjacent to the F.F.C.C. Mitre railway, the design carefully considers its context.
Throughout the design process, numerous contextual relationships were explored. These ranged from integrating public spaces into the overall structural framework to adopting a single-layer design approach. The project aims to understand existing boundaries while inferring possible connections and distances between expanded sections. Additionally, the upper setback is emotionally linked with the enclosure structure to foster a stronger connection with the surrounding environment.

The building’s enclosure is constructed entirely from Bricko bricks supplied by Corblock, maximizing its structural load-bearing capabilities. This material allows for experimental complexity through precise morphological operations such as repetition, segmentation, and connection. The design strategically converges, positions, combines, and secures patterns to create the desired atmosphere, characterized by a continuous interplay of light and space.

The expansion below the facade boundary serves to reduce noise while carefully balancing privacy, natural light, and opacity gradients transitioning from the interior to the exterior.

The structure spans a ground floor plus six additional floors, embodying a dynamic tension that explores individuality through form, space, and materials. These residential units open new possibilities for living arrangements, emphasizing adaptability and modernity.
