BIM Q&A | How to Restore a Missing Feature Tree in SolidWorks?

BIM Q&A | SolidWorks feature tree is missing, how can it be called back?

The feature tree, also called the design tree, can sometimes be hidden in the SolidWorks workspace. Although hiding it increases the drawing area, it can make operations less convenient. To restore the feature tree, go to the top menu bar and find the “View” option to open a dropdown menu.

From the dropdown, select the “Feature Manager Tree” area. When the checkbox next to it is marked, the feature tree will be visible. Refer to the image below for how to open and unhide the design tree.

If you want to hide the feature tree again, simply uncheck the same option, and check it again whenever you need to display it.
