New York-based architectural firm ODA has unveiled its latest project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 47-story tower is situated on the south side of the New River apartments in the Rio Vista neighborhood, occupying a 13,000-square-foot site. It features 830 residential units, two-bedroom workspaces, and ample space dedicated to amenities and commercial uses.
The development includes a large street-level plaza at the corner, designed to enhance community life by hosting public functions on the lower floors, thereby activating the street and public spaces.

This expansive building caters to residents who want to live, work, and entertain all within their home environment. “This new lifestyle fosters strong connections and diverse activities within the adaptable architectural form,” says Eran Chen, Founder and Executive Director of ODA.
The tower is composed of a series of cylindrical volumes that step back as the building rises. These curved volumes are wrapped in glass facades, while each residential unit features a circular balcony, adding dynamic movement to the exterior. The stepped massing allows residents on different levels to fully utilize rooftop amenities and enjoy panoramic urban views.
The parking section provides 951 spaces and is clad in a three-dimensional screen facade that continues the cylindrical theme of the tower’s design.

Founded in 2007, ODA is a New York-based architectural firm. This project marks their third residential building in Fort Lauderdale, South Florida. Located at 300 West Broward Avenue, the tower serves as a new urban gateway to the city center. Following this, ODA introduced the design for Ombelle, a 43-story residential tower.
All of ODA’s Fort Lauderdale projects strive to foster strong connections with the city by integrating public plazas and commercial amenities at street level, encouraging vibrant community interaction.
