This experiential exhibition hall is located in Chengdu and serves the purpose of showcasing real estate projects in Hainan.

The main challenge of this project was to create an ocean-inspired space within the inland plains. Our goal was to break away from traditional design approaches and explore new possibilities: How can we transcend geographical boundaries through spatial experience? How can Chengdu and Hainan be connected through design? How can physical space evolve into a more fluid interface for information? And how can human experience flow more naturally between reality and virtuality?

In our exploration of contemporary media spaces, we discovered the key lies in images: reflected images, gradient images, digital images. Our solution is an exhibition hall that dissolves physical boundaries by composing the space entirely from layered images.

“Luhu Lake, Sea Mirror” serves as a true reflection of flowers, water, and moonlight, blurring the lines between the virtual and the real—bringing the essence of the sea to Chengdu.
