Belvedere Tower is situated close to Vienna Central Station, adjacent to the Swiss Garden within the Quartier Belvedere Central. This residential complex resembles a flowing giant structure, inspired by the organic form of primitive cell bodies. The building’s perimeter fence is crafted from white matte aluminum panels that wrap around its edges, rhythmically continuing, twisting, and pausing in specific areas. These adjustments respond to environmental factors such as wind, sound, and light, seamlessly integrating solid walls, glass, linear elements, and point balconies across different facade sections.

The Belvedere Tower features 18 floors and is architecturally divided into three layered glass sections that step back progressively. The project includes 234 two-bedroom apartments and 15 three-bedroom units, ideal for singles and young couples.

Six different apartment types are outfitted with ceiling cooling and underfloor heating systems. Each unit includes a private balcony or corridor, offering residents high-quality outdoor living spaces to enjoy the captivating views of Vienna.

Due to natural lighting constraints, some areas break away from the tower’s original shape by flipping outward to create spaces wrapped in metal materials that are flooded with natural light and open views. The tower’s exterior mainly consists of plaster-insulated composite walls combined with an aluminum and glass structure featuring three layers of fixed glass, along with rotating or tilting elements. These design components harmonize to form the distinctive Belvedere Tower, which enriches its surroundings with a striking presence.
The ground floor area is constructed with column-beam structures and metal-coated composite wall panels made of anodized aluminum. Entrance blocks are strategically placed on the ground floor to clearly mark the apartment entrances.

Residents of Belviota have access to indoor fitness facilities equipped with professional-grade equipment, including an underground sauna. A communal kitchen and lounge area offer a welcoming space to socialize and connect with neighbors. Additionally, a self-service laundry room is provided to save space within individual units.
The building also features an internal express delivery area with return and exchange services, reducing the need for residents to visit post offices. An underground parking garage offers seamless and obstacle-free access to the apartments. Belvedere Tower has proudly earned the DGNB Sustainable Building Gold Award for its eco-friendly design.

“The dynamic building blocks and structured facade design are vividly expressed through the ribbon-like form, featuring elements such as loggias, independent balconies, and bay windows. Each architectural detail reflects the environmental influences of wind, sound, light, and diverse courtyard spaces.” – Wolf dPrix, 2021
