This residence is situated at the edge of a sloping community, right next to a forest. However, the site itself features flat terrain with no slopes or vegetation.

By excavating soil from the base of the site, the house level was elevated by 1.3 meters. This allowed the views to extend above the surrounding trees, offering a better appreciation of the scenery.

The house spans two floors, with the main entrance on the upper level. This floor comprises nine distinct areas: the living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. These spaces are interconnected by corridors and separated by terraces. On the ground floor, there is a garage and barbecue area that also leads to a swimming pool and a volleyball court.

The terrace plays a vital role in both separating and connecting the various functions of this residence. It expands the house’s volume above ground level, creating a transitional space that links the interior with the exterior, effectively making outdoor space part of the indoor environment.

The terrace acts as an extension of the indoor space. These areas are formed by internal platforms connected by corridors. The initial space was divided into nine solid volumes and eleven voids—terraces.

The building features a large, concrete-wrapped volume that gives it an inward-focused character. Yet, it maintains a strong connection to its surroundings by incorporating the views into the internal terraces. The use of concrete and stone on the exterior, combined with wood on the interior, reinforces this duality.
