The newly unveiled design of “Beverly Hills” by Foster+Partners is set to be completed in Los Angeles by 2026. This mixed-use high-rise development, created in collaboration with Gensler, features two residential buildings lushly adorned with greenery and a 10-story hotel. Spanning 17.5 acres, this vibrant urban resort will be situated in the heart of the world-famous Beverly Hills, making it one of the largest and most environmentally conscious projects in the United States.

Foster+Partners’ Beverly Hills project unites several properties adjacent to the iconic Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. The development will introduce three environmentally sustainable buildings: two residential co-op buildings and a third building housing 42 all-suite luxury hotel rooms alongside 37 co-op apartments. At the core of the site, an impressive 8-acre botanical garden will be created, serving as a green oasis. Guided by the goal of establishing the healthiest and most forward-thinking development, the new buildings and gardens aim to surpass California’s ambitious sustainability targets. The lush landscape architecture was designed in collaboration with Los Angeles-based RIOS Studio.

Norman Foster shared his vision for the ongoing “Beverly Hills” project: “Originally, Beverly Hills was farmland—an oasis that nourished the growing city. A century later, we drew inspiration from this history to create an organic building that seamlessly integrates with the landscape, with much of it accessible to the public, fostering shared resources for the city. California’s rich culture is deeply influenced by its diverse heritage, combined with an urgent need for sustainability—especially in protecting and recycling water through green planting. We look forward to developing a master plan grounded in the site’s green strategy.”
