This residential project was commissioned by a young couple with one simple request: a home with a clear view of the sea. This brief presented a unique design challenge—to create a compact structure that draws the viewer closer through perspective, allowing an immediate sense of the landscape’s depth.
The architectural form evokes a single, suspended ship facing the sea. On the first floor, the public area offers an intimate experience with nature within a focused field of view. Meanwhile, the second floor’s master bedroom extends the gaze far beyond, opening onto the refreshing expanse of the Pacific Ocean.
