This project began with the client’s business story. The office was originally housed in an old building featuring a courtyard at the front. Due to extensive online transactions with numerous clients, the office environment became a source of constant tension among employees. Through discussions with the client, the architects learned that the space functioned as a gathering spot for communication—much like a small stock market or bazaar.

With this understanding, the architect focused on promoting seamless communication and workflow in the new office design. An additional staircase was introduced to connect different functional areas: the management and sales departments on the second floor, the accounting area on the third floor, as well as the rooftop rest area and green space. Drawing inspiration from the local architecture of Yazd, the design features pure geometric shapes and clear forms, enhanced by expansive circulation paths. This approach positions the building as a platform for modern office architecture within this utopian city.

This project addresses both broad and detailed challenges. Designers had to consider factors such as solar radiation and natural ventilation at a micro level, while also managing neighborhood relations, connections with adjacent buildings, and achieving a harmonious yet distinctive presence. The surrounding classical architecture, which increased after the project’s completion, further emphasizes the sharp contrast between the new building and its environment.

The building’s skyline is defined by a curved form that extends seamlessly to an internal skylight. The entire façade is clad in white limestone, while the structure primarily uses reinforced concrete and steel frames to add depth and detail to the exterior.
