Here, residents begin their day with the first rays of sunlight touching the peaks of the Himalayas and end it basking in the warm, orange glow of mountain sunsets. This breathtaking setting inspired Ant Studio’s latest residential project.
The house’s design draws from the natural contours and slopes of the surrounding Himalayan terrain, aiming to harmoniously blend into the landscape.

Inspired by the stunning views and the warm light that illuminates the house at night, the design evokes a celestial experience. The primary goal was to create living spaces where every corner offers a captivating view of the surrounding scenery.
To achieve this, the design team seamlessly integrated elements of nature into the residence’s structure. Courtyards, open spaces, and sloping terraces are thoughtfully arranged to blend natural vitality with architectural form. Each courtyard is designed to provide cozy, scenic views, enhancing the unique living experience.

The entrance features a sloping open terrace that replaces a traditional bridge, showcasing warm wooden textures throughout the hall. A staircase leads down to a spacious living room situated on a lower level.
This living room is designed to maximize natural light and volume, featuring panoramic windows and sections of a glass roof. The darker wooden floors, natural shadows cast by furniture, and light blue walls create a striking yet harmonious contrast.

A standout feature is the elegant division between the living and dining areas, marked by a classic fireplace framed in warm golden oak and clad with vertical stone panels.
The private bar contrasts rich wooden textures with dark stone surfaces, creating a refined atmosphere. Soft, light-colored décor complements the space, while organic-shaped mirrors serve both decorative and functional purposes.
The adjacent kitchen presents a bold color contrast, combining red wall tiles with sleek black marble cabinetry.

A panoramic glass door leads to a private mountain nook. Through a shared space, two distinct living rooms reflect the mystery of the jungle and the serenity of the ocean.
The adjoining bathrooms maintain a rich atmosphere with golden accents, while preserving the natural textures of brick and wood.
Upstairs, accessed via a staircase in the entrance hall, the master bedroom features a soft grey backdrop with white walls and dark wooden floors. The architects describe the vague boundaries between landscape and building as part of the mountain setting, creating an idyllic living haven for the residents.
