Ruhan Culture stands as the largest e-commerce influencer incubation and marketing company in China. Their latest office is situated in Gaode Real Estate Plaza, right in the heart of Hangzhou’s central business district, occupying the 37th and 38th floors with a total area of 3,558 square meters. The office’s design and decoration were fully entrusted to inDeco, a leading unicorn in the public decoration industry. By integrating lifestyle elements, inDeco has crafted a fresh office environment for Ruhan, injecting new energy into work habits and lifestyle.

Design Philosophy
Space is a vessel for activities, and office space serves as a carrier of life itself.

Just as business and services have seamlessly integrated into communities, office work has gradually expanded beyond isolated zones to become part of everyday urban life. In designing Ruhan Culture’s office, inDeco portrayed employees’ work scenes as an extension of life through fluid spatial continuity. This is evident in the spatial form and sequence, the interplay of light and shadow, the choice of materials, and the integration of various functions.
The office becomes a new stage, blending work seamlessly with life.
Space Layout

▲ Functional layout of the 37th floor
“E-commerce” and “influencers” are key themes for Ruhan Culture, resulting in a uniquely dynamic flow of people compared to traditional offices. To enhance spatial experience, inDeco clearly zoned the 37th floor as the primary functional area dedicated to live streaming, photography, and related activities. The live streaming room and studio serve as focal display areas, alongside offices, meeting rooms, and negotiation spaces for the filming team.

▲ Functional layout of the 38th floor
The 38th floor primarily functions as an office space, hosting reception areas, contract signing rooms, negotiation zones, and supporting office facilities.
Distinctive Color Palette
The entire office is enveloped in a soft Morandi color scheme, blending delicate shades of light gray, smoky pink, and lake blue. This subtle yet varied palette creates a rich visual experience and strikes a sophisticated balance. The design aims to resonate personally with each visitor, while also supporting the long-term career development of every young internet influencer at Ruhan Culture.

Open Plan Office Area
As a cutting-edge internet trend company, Ruhan Culture values immediate, efficient, and open communication. The open office design fosters transparency and connectivity, promoting creativity. The design adopts a refined blue-gray tone as the main color, eliminating unnecessary complexity and decoration. This approach reduces the sense of confinement while creating a clean, dynamic office environment.

Balancing openness with privacy using desktop and spatial partitions, the design integrates people, objects, and space to foster a flexible and diverse work environment. Perforated partitions are painted to resemble windows, creating a continuous sense of separation. Additionally, these partitions cleverly incorporate unique letterforms from the Ruhnn brand, embedding brand identity visually throughout the space and enhancing depth and imagery.

Studio
For internet celebrities and e-commerce, photography and live streaming are vital methods to monetize traffic.

inDeco designed the studio with a standard shadowless wall setup. Special attention was given to the studio’s spatial depth, optimizing it to accommodate various model activities within limited space and maximizing space utilization.

Exhibition Corridor
Ruhan Culture’s corporate identity requires the office space to serve multifunctional roles, including displaying clothing and products within limited areas. inDeco ingeniously transformed the outer corridors of the live streaming and studio rooms into display walls, breaking the typical monotony of long office corridors with a richer visual experience.

▲ Vertical layout of Ruhan Culture Photography Studio corridor
The corridor design prioritizes user experience and product display, creating diverse display scenes based on functional needs and flow paths. This smooth visual flow transforms passive viewing into active engagement, fostering a more harmonious connection between people and space.

The winding and progressive corridors connect the entire office organically, allowing visitors to experience the unique charm and layered spatial dynamics.

inDeco’s designers believe that form should follow function. To that end, identification numbers and usage status light boxes were creatively added to the exterior walls of the studio and live streaming rooms. This allows users to easily differentiate rooms and their current status, blending practical functionality with aesthetic design.

Exhibition Hall
Located on the same floor as the photography and live streaming rooms, the designer allocated nearly 200 square meters for an exhibition area for Ruhan Culture. This space can accommodate over 300 SKUs and supports diverse work activities for influencers, stylists, and photographers.

This design breaks traditional exhibition hall boundaries and limitations, offering more possibilities and engagement. It invites visitors to explore various experiences and functions within the space.

Internet celebrities and hosts can coordinate outfits here and even perform live broadcasts on the spot. The exquisite, dynamic scene design offers versatile spatial support for their diverse activities.

Signing Room
Important moments in life deserve to be remembered.
Most individuals signing contracts with Ruhan Culture are young, so the signing room is designed with the solemnity of a small chapel. Light strips, color choices, and rounded details soften the atmosphere, creating a space that is both dignified and youthful. Entering this room marks a new beginning, symbolizing the rise of future stars at Ruhan Culture.

Creating memorable spaces to accompany users in life’s significant moments has always been a core vision of inDeco Leading Intelligent Manufacturing.
Rest Area
Public spaces are increasingly vital extensions of both work and life. Here, the boundaries between the two blur, allowing people to discuss work more naturally and socialize with colleagues as friends.

The designer thoughtfully placed multiple public spaces near functional areas, serving nearby facilities while offering employees the best views and amenities. The glass surfaces create a reflective interplay between interior and exterior, evoking contrasting sensations of reality and reflection, energy and calmness simultaneously.

Construction Techniques
1. The design incorporates both cast-in-place terrazzo and prefabricated terrazzo bricks. Whether produced on-site or prefabricated, these materials undergo multiple fine grinding processes to achieve the desired crystalline surface finish. Prefabricated terrazzo bricks paired with grout offer a more economical solution while closely matching the integrity of cast-in-place terrazzo, delivering excellent results within budget.

To maintain the design’s visual style, all baseboards use a hidden metal skirting technique embedded in grooves. Ensuring seamless continuity of metal skirting across various wall materials requires different construction methods for each surface. Such meticulous craftsmanship fulfills design expectations and guarantees a flawless visual effect.

3. Large-scale coloring of irregular fixed furniture involves painting, color matching, and gradual color transitions on actual pieces before final curing in a baking room. During installation, furniture must fit seamlessly into reserved spaces. This process includes repeated on-site adjustments, modifications, and trimming at material junctions to achieve the perfect finish.

Space is created for people, and all design efforts aim to better serve them. Only when users feel truly connected to their environment can they develop a sense of belonging and happiness. The designers at inDeco Leading Intelligent Manufacturing aspire to redefine Ruhan Culture’s office, bringing fresh work and lifestyle experiences to its users.
