Platform Home is situated on a gentle slope, offering expansive views of distant mountains and plains. The existing structure on the site serves basic daily functions but feels cramped. The owner requested an addition of an open living area to enhance the sense of spaciousness.

The design connects the original buildings through a series of stacked platforms that respond to the slope’s natural contour. Within this layered structure, a large, horizontally extending cantilevered roof resembles a white cloud hovering over the hillside. Beneath this roof, wide French windows provide unobstructed views from the living and dining rooms.
Extending from the living room is another platform, featuring an infinity pool that merges with the layered landscape. Each platform, positioned at different heights, offers unique perspectives and spatial experiences.

The interior is designed to be simple and spacious, emphasizing horizontal scale. Stone walls extend seamlessly from inside to outside, blurring the boundaries between the two and creating a harmonious flow that connects indoor and outdoor spaces.

These platforms integrate with the building like natural slopes, essentially extending the structure into the surrounding landscape. The goal is to create a picturesque scene that harmonizes with the terrain within a limited space.
