This neoclassical villa is situated on a long, narrow plot, divided into several similar sections on the floor plan. Originally, the design was not well-suited to the tropical climate or the site’s proximity to river channels.

Key modifications include adding a porch, expanding the backyard, and positioning an atrium at the villa’s center. These changes have enlarged the public areas on the first floor and the bedrooms on the second and third floors, providing scenic views of the garden and river. The porch and atrium not only create open spaces but also adapt the design to the tropical climate. Experiencing the breeze, rain, and natural surroundings from the porch offers a truly memorable atmosphere.

Plants and gravel are thoughtfully placed throughout the villa, including inside the atrium that spans the first and upper floors, as well as beside the bathroom. Sliding doors, windows, and skylights enhance ventilation, while concrete and wooden louvers allow natural light to filter through, creating dynamic patterns of sunlight and shadow. These features also help reduce heat and maintain privacy.

The furniture is crafted from raw materials such as terrazzo concrete, natural wood, red soil, and white paint. The exterior design has been simplified to harmonize with neighboring villas while still exuding understated elegance.

At the back of the villa, a recreational area features lush green spaces, plants, and a swimming pool. A sliding wooden floor covers the pool, enhancing safety and creating a versatile play area. This space is ideal for dinners or gatherings, offering a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere.
