A narrow street, still reflecting the relaxed character of the old Kininotzsches neighborhood, has expanded into a small square featuring a well. This area is dominated by an abandoned house whose form has gradually evolved over time, with some additions extending beyond the original structure. The collection of small houses is nestled within a sloping garden, currently in a very dilapidated and uninhabitable condition.

The renovation preserves only the oldest stone section facing the street, which now serves as the entrance to the main living areas housed in two newly constructed buildings. The uppermost level is designated for the children. All living spaces, including the children’s bedrooms, open directly to the sunlit sloping garden, which is shielded from the street by the house itself.

The old and new sections of the building are visually unified by the plaster color and the distinctive sea tail roof tiles. The varying ages of the components are highlighted through details, creating a striking contrast between the original rustic form and the contemporary minimalist design.
